Script Editor Tab Key does nothing

    Details

      Description

The Script Editor Tab Key does nothing.

The Shift Tab Key does move the cursor.

I tested on a standard NASA FDF Dell Optiplex GX520 Office machine.

See http://gmat.ed-pages.com/wiki/tiki-index.php?page=Ref-ScriptEditorShortcutKeys for the definition of the Short Cut Keys.

      Used Build 03-17-2010.

If you click save on the editor, then tab works and moves around the panel until it is back in the text portion of the script editor and then gets stuck there.

The same issues occur while editing a Function.

Removing Fix By and changing Priority so this will be re-triaged.

This is actually the bigger issue that pressing Tab does nothing in the editor. This is a perception-of-quality issue, since Tab in any other text editor inserts some sort of spacing at the cursor.

For reference, MATLAB inserts a full indent's worth of spaces when you press Tab. The indent size is configurable, but defaults to 4.

EDIT: The duplicate bug (GMT-575) was triaged at P2/R2013a.
